Power schemes

A power scheme is a set of configurative settings that mirror those of Microsoft’s Windows Power Management. The settings specify how the operating system will act in various situations. For example how long the PC can be idle without going in to standby or hibernation.

Power schemes are used in power scheme groups where they are given a start time. At the specified time, the power scheme’s settings will be applied to all the PC’s in the group.

Right-clicking on a power scheme gives you the following options:

Element Description
Promote in Configuration Management Opens a window where the power scheme can be promoted to another Configuration Management Point.
Delete Deletes the power scheme.
Properties Provides you with the properties for the power scheme in the power scheme properties window.
