Follow these steps carefully to update your package with the new Windows image (for example, Windows 11 25H2).


  1. In Capainstaller console, locate the CapaSystems Services Cloud Updater package.
  2. Right-click on the package and select “Edit Installation Script.”
  3. The script will now open in the built-in editor.

  1. In the script, look for the line where the image versions are defined. should be line 75.

  2. Add one of the following values depending on your language:

    • For English (UK): W11.25H2 EN-GB
    • For Danish: W11.25H2 DA-DK
  3. Make sure the formatting matches the other entries exactly.


After editing, save the script to ensure your changes are stored.


If your CapaServer is running in Production (Prod):

  1. Right-click on the package again.
  2. Choose “Promote.”

This step publishes your updated package for use. in the Production Point


Section titled “Step 5: Link the Computers to the Correct Group”
  1. set the CapaSystems Services Cloud Updater package to wating and wait for it to finish installing
  2. after installation, Go to the Groups section in the Capainstaller console.
  3. Locate and verify that the group is automatically created for the new image:
    Capawinupgrade -> W11.25H2
  4. Link the relevant computers to this group.

Now, you can execute the WinUpgrade package as usual to start upgrading the linked computers.
