CapaBitLocker - Activate Recovery Mode v4.0 (optional)

The package is optional and can be used to activate BitLocker Recovery Mode on the operating system drive.

The package schedule must be enabled, and the gbAllowRecoveryModeActivation variable must be set to True, before using the package.

⚠️ You will need the BitLocker Recovery Key to proceed from Recovery Mode ⚠️

CapaBitLocker - Check Encryption Status v4.0 (optional)

The package is optional and can be used to collect encryption and protection status on drives.

💡 We recommend installing this package on a weekly schedule to ensure that the custom inventory values are up to date.

The package can be installed separately from the other packages, because it includes several shared functions:

CapaBitLocker - Prepare Endpoint v4.0

The package can be used to prepare the TPM chip.

If the TPM chip is ready for encryption when the package is installed, no changes are made.

💡 Depending on the “physical presence” settings in the BIOS, changes to the TPM chip might require acceptance on the following reboot.

CapaBitLocker - Suspend Drives v4.0

The package can be used to suspend BitLocker on the operating system drive.

💡 Data drives do not support the -RebootCount parameter, meaning that BitLocker is suspended until resumed manually. To avoid scenarios where data drives are left unintentionally unprotected, CapaBitLocker only supports suspension of the operating system drive.
