How to install without internet access

If the CapaInstaller server doesn’t have internet access, extract the installation files on a separate machine that does, then transfer them to the server and run the setup offline.

Before you start

The user running the Command Prompt on the CapaInstaller server must have access to the SQL Server.

Install CapaInstaller offline

1. On a machine with internet access, download the web installer from CapaInstaller.
2. Open a Command Prompt on that machine and run setup.exe /admin to extract the installation files.
3. Copy the extracted files to the CapaInstaller server.
4. On the CapaInstaller server, open a Command Prompt as a user with access to the SQL Server.
5. Run setup.exe /ii to install from the extracted files. The /ii (Ignore Internet) switch tells the installer not to check for an internet connection.
