Windows Endpoint List
The List tab under Windows → Endpoints shows every enrolled Windows endpoint. Use it to find endpoints, save the filters you use often, and run actions on one or many endpoints at once.

Columns
Section titled “Columns”| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The endpoint name, with the operating system below it. A red badge shows the number of failed patches, if any. |
| Agent Status | Online or Offline. Hover to see how long the endpoint has been offline, the latest agent startup, and the last check-in. A yellow dot means the agent is busy. |
| Type | An icon for the device type, such as desktop, laptop, or server. |
| Last check-in | When the agent last contacted CapaOne. Hover for the exact time. |
| Agent Version | The installed CapaOne Agent version. Hidden by default. |
| Users | The active user on the endpoint. None means that no active user was found. |
| Updates | Whether software and driver updates are available. The software badge requires Application Manager and the driver badge requires Provision Manager. |
The Name column is always shown. Use the column picker to show or hide the other columns.
When new endpoints enroll while the list is open, a Refresh button appears with the number of new endpoints detected.
Search and filter endpoints
Section titled “Search and filter endpoints”- Click the filter bar (Search or filter…) and type a name to search.
- To filter on a property, click Add filter and pick a field. Fields are grouped under Endpoint, Hardware, Software, Driver, and User.
- Add more filters as needed. Click the word between two filters to switch between matching all of them (AND) or any of them (OR).
- Click Done.
The list shows only the endpoints that match. The filter is kept in the page URL, so you can bookmark it or share it with a colleague.
Useful Endpoint fields include Online, Tags, OS Version, Last Check-in, Software Up-to-Date, Failed Patch Count, Driver Up-to-Date, and Driver Supported. Every filter can be negated, for example to find endpoints that don’t have a certain tag.
To clear all filters, click Clear all, or right-click the filter icon.
Save a filter
Section titled “Save a filter”Save a filter when you’ll need the same set of endpoints again, for example in an Automation workflow.
- Build the filter as described in Search and filter endpoints.
- Click Save as filter.
- Enter a Name. Select Mark as favourite to pin the filter to Favourites.
- Click Save.
If the name is already in use, CapaOne asks you to confirm that you want to overwrite the existing filter.
To use a saved filter later, open Saved filters or Favourites in the filter bar and select it.
Manage saved filters
Section titled “Manage saved filters”The Filters tab lists all saved filters, with the organization that owns each one.
- Click a filter to open the List tab with the filter applied.
- Open the row menu and select Edit to change the filter in the filter bar.
- Open the row menu and select Delete to remove the filter.
You can’t delete a filter that a workflow uses. CapaOne lists the workflows that depend on the filter, so you can change them first.
Act on one endpoint
Section titled “Act on one endpoint”Open the row menu of an endpoint to go to one of its pages (Software, Hardware, Configurations, Applications, or Groups) or to run an action:
- Add to group — add the endpoint to a group.
- Export for Windows Autopilot — see Export endpoints for Windows Autopilot.
- Delete — remove the endpoint from CapaOne. See Delete endpoints.
More actions are available on the endpoint’s own page. See Send Requests to a Windows Endpoint.
Act on many endpoints
Section titled “Act on many endpoints”- Select the check box next to each endpoint, or select all endpoints that match the current filter.
- Open the actions menu (Available actions · Endpoints) and select an action:
- Manage tags — add or remove tags. See Tag Windows Endpoints.
- Scan software or Scan hardware — ask the agents for a fresh inventory.
- Add to group — add the endpoints to a group.
- Export for Windows Autopilot — see below.
- Export to CSV — download the selected endpoints as a CSV file.
- Delete endpoints — see Delete endpoints.
The actions are unavailable until you select at least one endpoint.
Export endpoints for Windows Autopilot
Section titled “Export endpoints for Windows Autopilot”You can export the hardware information that Windows Autopilot needs, so you can register existing endpoints in Microsoft Intune.
- Select one endpoint in its row menu, or select several endpoints for a bulk export.
- Select Export for Windows Autopilot.
- Confirm the export.
CapaOne downloads the file. A bulk export is always a .zip file, because Windows Autopilot
supports up to 500 endpoints per .csv file and larger exports are split into several files.
Endpoints that are missing mandatory hardware information are listed in a separate
invalid_endpoints.csv file (invalid_endpoint.csv for a single endpoint).
Delete endpoints
Section titled “Delete endpoints”Deleting an endpoint removes it and all its data from CapaOne.
- Only offline endpoints can be deleted. Delete is unavailable while an endpoint is online.
- Deleting doesn’t uninstall the CapaOne Agent from the endpoint.
- When you delete several endpoints, CapaOne deletes only the offline ones. They disappear from the list gradually as they’re processed.
The deletion can’t be undone.
