Configure Start Menu Layout

Configures Start Menu layout by copying a LayoutModification.json or LayoutModification.xml file into user profile shell folders. Create or export the layout file on an existing reference device and include the file in your package (for example from C:\Users\<ReferenceUser>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\LayoutModification.json), then copy it with Download Content and reference it with $PackageRoot.

Required — Default: $PackageRoot\DefaultLayouts.xml

Full path to the Start Menu layout file (.json or .xml). This should normally point to a file copied from an existing reference device. Remember to include the Download Content brick when using $PackageRoot. Example: $PackageRoot\LayoutModification.json

Optional — Default: False

Enable to also apply the Start Menu layout file to user profiles that already exist on the device. Disable to apply only for new users through the default profile.
