Unregister DLL

Unregisters a DLL file or all DLL files within a specified directory using the regsvr32 command. This PowerBrick can be used to unregister COM components during a package uninstallation.

Parameters

DLL Name Or Path

Required

The name of the DLL to unregister (for example: mylibrary.dll) or a path containing multiple DLLs to unregister (for example: $PackageRoot). If a path is provided, all DLL files in that path and its subdirectories will be unregistered.

Ignore Errors

Optional — Default: True

If enabled, errors during DLL unregistration will be ignored. If disabled, the PowerBrick will throw an error if the unregistration fails.
