Apple Push Certificate Setup

Important

Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) is required for CapaOne MDM to communicate with Apple devices.

Set up the Apple Push Certificate

1. Log in to CapaOne portal.
2. Navigate to CapaOne → Apple Setup → Push Certificate.
3. Click Download this Push Request and save the file.
4. Open Apple Push Certificates Portal (https://identity.apple.com/pushcert).
5. Sign in with your Apple ID.
6. Create a certificate, upload the Push Request file, and download the .pem file.
7. Upload the certificate into CapaOne.

Confirmation: Certificate status shows Active with expiration date.

Caution

Renew the certificate every 12 months using the same Apple ID and the same certificate: log in, locate the certificate, and press Renew on it. Creating a new certificate instead will unenroll your existing devices.
