Delete Registry Key

Deletes a specified registry key from the Windows registry. You can specify the root registry hive and the full path of the registry key to be deleted. This can be useful for cleaning up registry entries that are no longer needed or for removing keys that may be causing issues.

Parameters

Registry Root

Required — Default: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

Select the root registry hive containing the key to delete Allowed values: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, HKEY_CURRENT_USER, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, HKEY_USERS.

Registry Key

Required — Default: SOFTWARE\Sample

Full path of the registry key, starting after the root hive (e.g., SOFTWARE\Sample)
