Google Play EMM API
Google announced the Play EMM API stops working September 30, 2025. CapaInstaller uses the Play EMM API for Android endpoint management, so Android endpoint management will stop working in CapaInstaller on September 30, 2025. Apple and Windows endpoints are unaffected. CapaOne MDM uses a newer Google API and continues to function as before. Strongly recommend migrating Android endpoints from CapaInstaller to CapaOne as soon as possible.
Apple Command Queue
Some customers experienced issues applying configurations with a large amount of data on Apple endpoints. The “view commands queue” feature was temporarily disabled to fix it. Android and Windows endpoints were unaffected; feature expected fully operational again within a few work days.
CapaOne Issues (Resolved)
CapaOne is fully operational again. Service disruptions that began Monday morning were fixed Tuesday afternoon, caused by an infrastructure update at a primary service provider. Customer data remained safe throughout.
Cookie Consent
Evolving data privacy regulations require obtaining explicit cookie consent. Starting February 1st, 2025, all customers are prompted to accept cookies.
CapaOne Security Summary
Reminder that the Summary dashboard in CapaOne Security becomes a paid feature on February 1st, 2025. Contact [email protected] to keep the Summary dashboard.
Blazing fast views
CapaOne Security now displays views over 92% faster. Previously customers with 5,000+ endpoints could see a 10-15 second delay before Endpoints, Software and Detected CVE views displayed; now under 1 second, even for 10,000+ endpoints.
