# Dashboards and Widgets

Your organization has one dashboard that you use to look up information about how *individual computers* perform, another dashboard that you use to monitor how *applications* perform, a third dashboard that provides an overview of how your organization's *locations* perform, and yet another dashboard that your *business analysts* use.

The [What are Dashboards?](/performanceguard/dashboards-and-widgets/what-are-dashboards/) are made up of  [Widgets](/performanceguard/dashboards-and-widgets/widgets/). Widgets are smaller elements that each show a particular type of information.

[Dashboard Relations](/performanceguard/dashboards-and-widgets/dashboard-relations/) makes it possible to link Dashboards together using **ADMIN > Dashboard > Dashboard Relations.** This enables the end-user to easy navigation from eg a Computer on one dashboard to even more details for that Computer on an other dashboard.

[Guest access](/performanceguard/dashboards-and-widgets/guest-access/) allows invited users to a sneak peek on a single Dashboard.

When you place multiple widgets side-by-side on a dashboard, you get an excellent overview of related information. This can, for example, help you identify causes and effects in a single view.
