# View Events that Relate to an Alert

> Open the Related Events tab of an alert to see the events that triggered it.

When you view triggered alerts in the [Alert List](/performanceguard/analyze/alert-list/), you can click the **Alert Id** of a particular alert to view details about the alert, including affected locations, networks, and computers.

If you then click the **Related Events** tab, you can view a list of events that have contributed to the triggering of the alert.

Click computer names in the table's **Computer** column to view details about the computer on which an event has occurred. Likewise, click information in the **Event Rule** column to view details about the event rule that triggered an event.
