# Events by Severity

> See the threshold events that occurred, sorted by severity.

To get a quick overview of occurred [Manage Thresholds and Events](/performanceguard/administration/manage-thresholds-and-events/) sorted by severity, select **REPORTING > Events**, and then select the **Events by Severity** tab.

1. Select required location.
2. Select required event category.
3. Select the required **Interval** (that is the period of time that you want to cover). If the predefined intervals don't suit you, select **Custom** to [Custom Time Periods on Graphs](/performanceguard/analyze/custom-time-periods-on-graphs/).
4. Click the **Update** button.

Click the numbers in the table's **Events** column to view details about events with the severity level in question.

If required, you can add the content to a report, or you can export it as an Excel (.xls) file.
