# Computer Events

> View the threshold events that have occurred on one particular computer.

The events list lets you view [Manage Thresholds and Events](/performanceguard/administration/manage-thresholds-and-events/) that have occurred on a particular computer.

To view the list, select **ANALYZE > Computers > Computer Search**, and search for a computer. Then, in the search results, click the name of the required computer, and then select the **Events** tab.

The list of events can potentially be long. You are able to filter the list based on:

- **Event Severity**: The severity level of the event.
- **Event Category**: Customized logical groups of events, a convenient way of grouping events into relevant areas of interest.
- **Event Type**: A predefined list of event types that PerformanceGuard knows about.
- **Event Rule**: Event rules control the triggering of events based on threshold violations. An event rule is essentially the combination of a threshold value and a location to apply the rule to. If any computer at the location crosses the threshold, an event will be created from each of the violating computers.
- **Interval**: The period of time from which you want to view events, for example the last 24 hours .
