# View Details About Alerts

> Open a single triggered alert from the Alert List to see its details.

You can view details about an individual triggered alert:

1. Open the Alert List by selecting **REPORTING > Alerts**, and then selecting the **Alert List** tab.
2. In the [Alert List](/performanceguard/analyze/alert-list/)'s **Alert Id** column, click the number of the alert that you want to know more about.
3. You can now view details about the alert in question, including affected locations/networks, affected computers as well as event rules that relate to the alert.
