# Application Groups

> Group related applications together so you can compare a whole group's response time with a single application's.

Application Grouping is a perfect way to group related applications together.

It could be used to compare for example **response time** for a group (Office365) with a specific Office365 application (Exchange)

To create an **Application Group** simply click ![](/attachments/performanceguard/d63e86b6-f80c-43a2-8182-3787fbbfb5d8.png) and select **Create Application Group,** then drag and drop all the related applications into the newly created group.

The group will now be available in the application controller on both Dashboards and Widgets.
