:::caution
You can only do this if you're a PerformanceGuard administrator.
:::

If you're a PerformanceGuard administrator, you can view database and PerformanceGuard agent error logs in the PerformanceGuard web interface:

1. Select **ADMINISTRATION > Status > Errors**.
2. Select the required **Interval** (that is the period of time that you want to cover). If the predefined intervals don't suit you, select **Custom** to [Custom Time Periods on Graphs](/performanceguard/analyze/custom-time-periods-on-graphs/).
3. Optionally, specify all or part of an error **Name** that you specifically want to search for.

:::note[Important]
**Example:** Use this feature if you know that the name of the error you are looking for contains the word *initialization*.
:::
4. Optionally, specify all or part of a **Component** name that you specifically want to search for.

:::note[Important]
**Example:** Use this feature if you know that the name of the component you are looking is *InitApplication*.
:::
5. Optionally, specify the **Agent ID** of an agent that you specifically want to search for.
6. Select a minimum **Severity**.

   Note that the logs use numbers to indicate the severity of each message:
7. - Informational: 0-10
   - Use-related: 11-127
   - Minor error: 128
   - Severe error: 129
   - Blocking error: 130
8. Click the **Search** button.

:::tip
You can view message logs from PerformanceGuard agents on individual computers this way: Select **ANALYZE > Computers > Computer Search** and search for the required computer. In the search results, click the name of the required computer and then select the **Message Log** tab.
