# Generate Report

> Generate a report for selected computers over a chosen time interval under Reporting, Reports.

1. Select **REPORTING > Reports** and click the name of the required report.
2. In the **Agents** menu, select which computers should be covered by the report.
3. In the **Interval** menu, select which period of time the report should cover.

:::note[Important]
**Example:** If you select **0-4 hours**, the report will cover the last four hours leading up to the time that the report is generated.

4. Click **HTML** or **PDF** as required.

Most reports will be ready for viewing very quickly. However, depending of the number of computers covered by the report and the complexity of the report, it may take a while for the report generation to complete.

If you use an iPad, you'll need a PDF-capable reader like Apple iBooks or Adobe Reader to view PDF reports.

If you want to send someone a link to a specific page in an HTML report, add *#page\_x* to the report link. Example:

**http://server.organization.org/report/PCReport.html?interval=10080&group\_id=0#page\_3\_**
