# Connect PerformanceGuard to CapaOne

> Add a CapaOne Portal Access Token to PerformanceGuard and turn on cloud services such as Office 365 and CapaOne Reliability.

Product: PerformanceGuard — a separate CapaSystems product; do not apply this page to any other.

PerformanceGuard cloud services, such as [Office 365](/performanceguard/administration/cloud-services/office-365/) and [CapaOne Reliability](/performanceguard/administration/cloud-services/capaone-reliability/), need a connection to CapaOne. You make the connection with a Portal Access Token.

:::note[Before you start]
- You need the PerformanceGuard administrator role.
- You need a CapaOne account, and a contract that includes the cloud services you want to use. Contact CapaSystems if you're not sure.
- The PerformanceGuard server must be able to reach `api.capaone.com` over HTTPS (TCP port 443). See [Cloud Services](/performanceguard/administration/cloud-services/).
:::

## Add the Portal Access Token

1. In the PerformanceGuard web interface, select **Administration → Cloud → Integration**.
2. Select the **CapaOne Portal** link on the page, and sign in to CapaOne.
3. Copy the key that CapaOne shows.
4. In PerformanceGuard, paste the key into **Portal Access Token**.
5. Select **Save**.

PerformanceGuard checks the token with CapaOne. If the token isn't valid, the field shows **Invalid Portal Access Token**.

## Turn on a cloud service

1. Select **Administration → Cloud → Services**.
2. Turn on the switch next to the service you want to use.

When you turn on a service, PerformanceGuard creates the network applications and dashboards for that service. The dashboards can be empty until the service's job has run for the first time.

After the service's job has run, an information icon appears next to the switch. It's green if the last run succeeded and red if it failed. Select it to open the **Service status** dialog, which shows when the job last ran and the job message. If the service itself has an error, a red alert icon appears instead. Select it to see the error message.

## If the connection doesn't work

If PerformanceGuard can't reach CapaOne, check the firewall and proxy settings for the PerformanceGuard server. The troubleshooting section of [Cloud Services](/performanceguard/administration/cloud-services/) lists the error messages and the address to allow.
