# Navigating CapaOne

> Find your way around CapaOne: the Windows, Android, and Apple platforms, plus the Management and Account sections.

CapaOne is organized around platforms — Windows, Android, and Apple — plus a Management section
for cross-platform operations and an Account section for organization settings. Here is a quick
orientation to help you find your way around.

## Signing in

Go to **dash.capaone.com** and sign in with your CapaOne credentials. You can also sign in using
a **Microsoft** or **Google** account, as long as it shares the same email address as your
CapaOne account.

## The home page

After signing in you land on the home page, which displays quick-access tiles for every section
of the platform, organized by platform. Click any tile to jump straight to that section.

The home page also includes:

- **On-Prem Solutions** — links to CapaInstaller and PerformanceGuard if you use those products
- **Quick Links** — direct access to documentation, support, the CapaForum, the technical blog,
  and onboarding resources

## The top bar

The top bar is visible throughout the platform and contains:

- **CapaOne logo** — click to return to the home page from anywhere
- **Dark/Light mode toggle** — switch the interface theme
- **Notifications** — alerts for events requiring attention
- **System Information** — platform status and release information
- **Organization selector** — if you manage multiple organizations, switch between them here
  without logging out
- **User profile** — access your profile settings or sign out

## The sidebar

Once you enter a platform section, a persistent sidebar appears on the left. It lists all pages
within that section. For example, in the Windows section the sidebar shows Dashboard, Endpoints,
Configurations, Applications, Privileges, Provisioning, Security, Experience, Automation, and
Enrollment.

You can collapse the sidebar using the button at the bottom to gain more screen space.

## Platform sections

| Section | What you manage here |

| **Windows** | Endpoints, applications, configurations, drivers, OS provisioning, security, experience, privilege elevation, and enrollment |
| **Android** | Android endpoints, app deployment, device configurations, enrollment, and Android Enterprise settings |
| **Apple** | iOS, iPadOS, and macOS endpoints, configurations, apps, VPP licenses, enrollment, and certificates |
| **Management** | Groups, endpoint users, directory integrations, reporting, and the Self Service Hub |
| **Account** | Your profile, and (for org admins) user management, billing, and contracts |

## Organization selector

If your CapaOne account has access to multiple organizations — for example, if you manage devices
for several companies or business units — the **organization selector** in the top bar lets you
switch between them. All data shown in the platform is scoped to the currently selected
organization.

## Good to know

- **URLs are organization-scoped** — every page URL includes the organization ID in the format
  `dash.capaone.com/organization/{org_id}/...`. This means browser bookmarks point to a specific
  organization and section.
- **Microsoft and Google SSO** require that your Microsoft or Google account uses the exact same
  email address as your CapaOne account — they link by matching email, not by setting up a
  separate federation.
- **The sidebar only appears inside a section** — on the home page you navigate using the tiles.
  Once inside a section, use the sidebar. Click the CapaOne logo to return to the home page tiles.
