Configures Windows to sign in automatically with a specific account, and removes that configuration again when it is no longer needed.

## Parameters

#### User Name
*Optional*

The account that Windows should sign in automatically. Enter only the account name, for example ProvisioningUser, and it is used as a local account on this computer. Include the domain to use a domain account instead, for example CONTOSO\\ProvisioningUser.\\n\\nA local account that does not exist on the computer is created automatically when Create User If Missing is enabled.\\n\\nUse a dedicated account with the fewest possible rights. Leave empty only when Disable Automatic Logon is enabled, otherwise the step fails.

#### Domain
*Optional*

The domain the account belongs to, for example CONTOSO. Leave empty for a local account, and the name of the computer is used automatically.\\n\\nA wrong value here means the sign in fails and the computer stops at the normal logon screen.

#### Password
*Optional*

The password for the account that should sign in automatically. It is stored in the protected Windows credential store and is never written to the log or to the registry in clear text.\\n\\nLeave empty only when Disable Automatic Logon is enabled, otherwise the step fails. An account without a password cannot be used.

#### Automatic Logon Count
*Optional* — Default: `0`

How many times Windows is allowed to sign in automatically. Windows counts down on every automatic sign in and stops signing in automatically when the counter reaches zero.\\n\\nLeave it at 0 to keep the automatic sign in active until it is turned off again. A provisioning sequence restarts the computer an unpredictable number of times, and a fixed number can run out halfway through. This leaves a standing credential on the computer, so always add this brick again with Disable Automatic Logon enabled before the computer is handed over to a user.\\n\\nEnter a number instead to limit it, for example 1 for a single unattended sign in or 3 when the computer restarts a couple of times during provisioning. The counter is then what stops a computer that would otherwise keep signing itself in forever.

#### Create User If Missing
*Optional* — Default: `True`

Enable to create the account on the computer when it does not exist yet, using the password entered above. The account is created with a password that never expires and is added to the local Users group so it is allowed to log on.\\n\\nDisable to require that the account already exists. The step then fails with a clear message instead of configuring an automatic logon for an account that cannot sign in.\\n\\nThis only applies to a local account. A domain account can neither be checked nor created from the computer, and must already exist.

#### Disable Automatic Logon
*Optional* — Default: `False`

Enable to turn automatic logon off and remove every automatic logon setting from the computer, including the stored password, the account name, the domain and the remaining sign in count. The User Name and Password values are ignored when this is enabled.\\n\\nDisable to configure automatic logon with the values above.\\n\\nRun this step at the end of provisioning so no sign in credential is left behind on the computer.
