Set the value of a registry variable of type string

### Syntax

Reg_SetString(sHandle, sKey, sVariable, sValue) as Boolean

### Parameters

#### sHandle (String)

HKEY-handle

#### sKey (String)

Subkey path

#### sVariable (String)

Name of variable to contain the value

#### sValue (String)

Value

### Example

**VBScript**

If bStatus Then bStatus = Reg_SetString("HKLM", "Software\KeyName", "ValueName", "Value")
