# Net_ResolveIP

### Net_ResolveIP(sComputerName)

Resolves a computer's name to its IP4 address, and returns it in gsValue.

### Arguments

| ARGUMENT      | DESCRIPTION                  | TYPE   |
|:--------------|:-----------------------------|:-------|
| sComputerName | The computer name to resolve | String |

### Return Type

Boolean, TRUE if function completed successfully.

### Remarks

### Example

The following example will validate if the boot server value registered by OSDGui, is a computer name or an IP address, and then set the IP address in the sBootServerIP variable.

The BootServer value read from the registry in this example, is already available in the gsBootServer variable set by OSD_Initialize.
