# Use HTTPS in Backend, Frontend & OS Deployment Service

With CapaInstaller 6.6, it is now possible to use HTTPS with the following services: the Backend Service, the Frontend Service, and the OS Deployment Service. They are all set up the same way.

In **System Administration**, right-click on one of the three services, select **Service Settings**, and then click on the **Communication** tab.

1. Add your URL at the top of the list. It will use the top one first, but if that one fails, it will use the next one on the list.

2. Now add your SSL certificate and click **OK**.

3. Now restart the **services** so they can use this configuration.

## Select which Backend Service OS Deployment should use and which Backend and Frontend Service MDM should use.

1. Select which Backend Service URL OS Deployment should use.

Do not remove the old HTTP URL before all the clients are using the new HTTPS URL. The clients need the old URL to get the new HTTPS URL.
