# OpenSSL

With newer versions of CapaInstaller, OpenSSL is now installed during the setup process. With CapaInstaller 6.6, OpenSSL has been upgraded to version 3.2.1.

OpenSSL version 3.2.1 is used when making Apple certificates, and it is supported on Windows Server 2016 and newer.
