# Introduction

The following is a description of how to create a new OS Deployment Point

### Guide

Right click *OS Deployment* in the left treeview and fill out the form

:::note[Important]
When an OS Deployment point is created, the following share is created as well: OS Deployment. This share contains the CapaInstaller OS Deployment client, models, drivers, configuration and the images. The share is used by the synchronization service when a new server is going to be populated or re-synchronized.  
    
By default, domain computers will be granted read access to this share and OSD admin change access.
