# Synchronize between CapaOne and CMS Installation

> Synchronize images and disk configurations up to the CapaOne portal, and deployment templates back to your installation.

As the Deployment Templates are created and maintained in the CapaOne portal, a synchronization of Images and Diskconfigs from the CMS installation to the CapaOne portal, and Deployment Templates from the CapaOne portal to the CMS Installation is required.

### Scheduled synchronization using Globaltask.

It is required that a replicator is assigned the Synchronize CapaOne task. This is done in the System Administration plugin under [Global Tasks](/capainstaller/the-capainstaller-console/system-administration/how-to-use-system-administration/manage-global-replicator-tasks-schedule/).

A schedule should be configured, depending on the frequency of changes to Images, Disk configurations and Deployment Templates.

### Immediate Synchronization from CMS Console.

A synchronization can be performed from the OS Point Context Menu.

This will force the replicator configured in Global Tasks, to perform a synchronization with CapaOne.
