# Create a reinstall group

The following is a description of how to create a reinstall group for Configuration Management

| 1        | Open *Configuration Management* /*Groups* /*System* *Groups* / Right-click on *Reinstall groups* and click *create a group*.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               |
| 2        | Type Name, Description and select a model. Choose whether or not all installed advertised packages should be unlinked from the computers. Choose whether or not the computer should be unlinked from all groups and packages. Checking this will disable the option regarding advertised packages. | 3        | Select the OS settings for the group.
